Terms of Service
Last updated: August 29, 2026
No legal entity has been registered yet. The operator must supply the entity name, address, and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone. These terms are provided as a framework for use of Parsepin pending the establishment of a legal entity.
Acceptance
By using Parsepin, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the tool.
Service description
Parsepin is a JSON parsing diagnostic tool. It accepts a URL or JSON text, parses the JSON, and reports parse errors with line, column, and expected token information. For URLs, it also fetches the resource server-side and reports the response status, content-type, body preview, and whether the response appears to be an error object dressed as a success.
User responsibilities
- You may use Parsepin only for lawful purposes.
- You must not submit URLs to resources you are not authorised to access.
- You must not use Parsepin to probe or scan systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test.
- You must not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates any third-party rights.
- You must not attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the service.
No accounts and no stored data
The Free tier of Parsepin does not require user accounts. No data you submit — URLs or JSON text — is stored, logged, or retained server-side. JSON text pasted in the Paste JSON mode is processed entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to any server.
If you subscribe to the Pro tier, your email address will be stored for billing purposes. No payment card details are stored by Parsepin — all payment processing is handled through a third-party payment processor (Stripe) and is subject to their terms and privacy policy. No other personal data is collected or retained.
Service limitations
- Parsepin fetches each submitted URL once. It does not follow redirects, does not crawl, and does not retry failed requests.
- Parsepin cannot reach hosts that are themselves behind Cloudflare's proxy. Such hosts will appear unreachable.
- Parsepin provides diagnostic information as-is. A non-2xx HTTP response or a fetch error means the analysis applies to the error response, not to a successful response from that endpoint.
- Parsepin may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or due to infrastructure outages. No uptime guarantee is offered.
No warranties
Parsepin is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The diagnostic output is provided for informational purposes and may be incorrect or incomplete. You use Parsepin at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Parsepin (and its operator, once registered) shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this tool.
Billing and payments
No payment processor is currently connected. The checkout on the Pricing page is a demonstration only. No real payment is taken, and no subscription is created. These terms will apply once a payment processor is connected and the Pro tier is available for purchase.
What you buy. The Pro subscription grants access to 10,000 URL parses per day, priority support (when available), API access (when available), and all features included in the Free tier.
Price and billing period. The Pro subscription is offered at $9 per month, billed monthly in advance. Prices are stated in United States dollars. The operator may change pricing with 30 days' notice; continued use after the change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Payment method. Payments are processed through Stripe. Parsepin does not store or have access to your full payment card details. You authorise Stripe to charge your selected payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Free trial. No free trial is currently offered for the Pro tier. This policy may change in the future.
Failed payments. If a recurring payment fails, Parsepin will retry the charge up to three times over a period of approximately one week (retries on days 1, 3, and 7 after the initial failure). If all retries fail, access to Pro features will be suspended until a payment method is updated and a successful charge is processed. You will receive notification of each failed attempt.
Cancellation. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to Pro features until the period ends.
Refunds. All payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection law. No partial refunds or credits are given for partial billing periods. In the event of a service outage lasting more than 48 consecutive hours, a pro-rata credit for the affected period may be issued at the operator's discretion.
Taxes. You are responsible for any applicable sales, VAT, or other taxes. If Parsepin is required to collect tax, it will be added to your invoice.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated at any time. The updated date at the top reflects the last revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
No governing law or jurisdiction is specified until the operator registers a legal entity. The operator must supply the entity name, address, and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone.
